Profound Photos of Excruciating Past and Abandoned Places

We all have seen awesome photographic skills of pleasant places and things. Human beings are by nature tend to be attracted towards the things that pleases them. However, we often forget the cruel realities of our misdeeds. It is not always to capture such abandoments and places that remind us excruciating past.

Sven Fennema is one such fine photographer who has the courage to travel to places that we have forgotten. The places which we don’t dare to go our like to be reminded because it trigger the sadness and inhumanity of humans.

Sven is a German photographer who has captured such monumental pictures of destrcuted Europe. He is a specialist in Architectural photography, Lost Places, Panography / Panorama photography and you will find all of this in today’s collection.

I hope the sadness at the end of the post brings the determination of undoing the wrong things and rediscovering the abandoned places all over again.

Old steel factory which has been abandoned since long time. The red rust still reminds the hard work of laborers.

Old hydropower plant with it’s unique black turbines was formerly used to generate the needed power.

What you see is all real, the scenery, the decay, the colors, the light. It is the amazing scenery of a forgotten little church somewhere in Italy. It reminds the human’s ability to forget even the God himself.

WOW…
These are amazing.
I live in Canada, and in my area there are very few abandoned buildings. There was a jail on the outside of town that was half burnt down, but unfortunately I lost the photos I took of it.
I really love exploring abandoned buildings, properties, and facilities.
Maybe one day I’ll visit a place as cool as these.
