The heading for this post is perhaps misleading for some and motivating for others. Every blogger that has not hit big would definitely like to know why do most bloggers fail. However, I assume that if you ended up on this page looking for information then you already are in trouble, desperate and frustrate. I also like to assume that at this stage you already have tried hard in looking for guidance or a miraculous tip to either make quick money or to revert good old days of receiving thousands of visitors a day. If you are a beginner level of blogger you need to read it before its too late and you become so-called expert with less time to learn. The post I am about to write is extraction of personal experience. I find myself obliged to do so because I know how frustrating it can be to have once a successful blog that became nothing in the matter of few months. In this post, I will describe the harsh realities of blogging and attitudinal problems of mediocre bloggers who dream to hit jackpot but end up having nothing from blogging.
I also wanted to write about why do most bloggers fail because I felt compelled to layout these facts as I could not find them on any other website promising to identify these crucial aspects of blogger’s attitudes. Mostly people talk about improvements and tricks to reverse it without addressing the basic problem which is not with search engine algorithms or lack of social media attention but with blogger himself. There are some basic principles that every one needs to follow but since they are too basic that bloggers tend to forget them and it caused most bloggers to fail. Following are not tips these are some behavioral aspects bloggers develop and then do not talk about them. May be our highlighting these realities will help you to recover your blog. I am sure if you address them then they can be proved really helpful to you as a blogger in reorganizing, revisiting and re-thinking of what you have been doing and adjust your blogging practices accordingly. But before you read further, I like to highlight that
Failure just brings you one step closer to success only if you keep trying
1- They Don’t believe In what they preach
One of the most important thing I consider cause failure to bloggers is disbelieve in their preaching. I consider blogging very sacred so should every blogger. Why? Simply because everything I write will have some impact on the reader. It can serve the purpose of information, knowledge or maybe just pledge to help and if I personally don’t stand beside what I write then it has no point. If you are pointing a link in your post and guide user to a place in order to know more then you should be certain that this is the best possible place my reader can get benefit. If you just point out a trick but don’t practice it then it means you are leaving your reader at the mercy of his own self decision. So, you better stick to whatever you say and believe in it.

2- They Don’t Research for Originality
In order to be the best in your niche you need to be original. Original in your content and original in your claims. Bloggers need to work hard in order to find the content they consider fit for their niche. Most of the time bloggers either opt for hotchpot content or just reproducing the content. As a blogger it is your duty to be different and original in your content because readers come to you in the quest of knowing something different something that can help. If you cannot offer them then I am sure you don’t have a plan to stay in this industry for long.
3- They Don’t Authenticate the Content
Let me explain this by giving a simple example. I am a blogger who intends to give a round up of recently released photoshop tutorials so I find a website or number of websites and compile an exhaustive list. Everything seems appropriate up till here but there is one major mistake. I am showcasing these tutorials from numerous resources but I did not bother to check which of the link is still valid and which has been removed. It is possible that some tutorials showcased on a website are primitive and removed but without authenticating I with intention of saving time and dodging readers I stick to the link and publish it. If any blogger does that, it clearly means he destines to doomsday which may come sooner or later but this practice will lead to huge pile of broken links ultimately destroying the reputation of your website. A simple free broken link finder can tell you how much broken links you have compiled if you have a habit of publishing links without validating.
4- They Don’t Update themselves
Blogging is a very fast changing and evolving industry. In this fast pace world things change in the matter of days not years. Of course basic principles remain the same but there are so many new updates from number of different platforms released everyday that can help you save your blog and your dream of getting big. There are so many examples of changing rules by Google and other search engines. Every now and then Google changes its algorithm and introduces new rules to play. As a blogger you cannot let yourself be in dark for long. You need to keep an eye on changing information and adapt accordingly in order to survive.
5- They Don’t let go Copy Pasting
This goes without saying how important it is not to copy paste. It makes your website dull and boring. You don’t people to point finger at you and allege you for invading their copyrights. So, it is better to ask actual owners before you decide to take anything for your own use. Moreover, the best thing is to generate your own content by this it does not mean you should be king of all and don’t use others material at all. My point is find your own creative ideas to present others content with your own personalized style trust me it will make your blog engaging and reputable. There are many places where you can find ideas for unique content generation and market your blog so do try them.
6- They Don’t spend on SEO
Most bloggers hate to pay for SEO because they think while writing and reading so much about it make them expert. Whereas the truth is completely different. At times you have to spend money on SEO either to take assistance from SEO expert or you need to buy a tool that can help you in keyword research, backlinks information and similar kind of information. You cannot just keep earning without spending for making your platform better. I assure you that if you are not an expert of SEO then there will be a time you will have to spend on it in order to save your blog and fix your malpractices.
7- They Don’t Extend Help
Bloggers that don’t extend their helping hand for others and betterment of their community end up having nothing but regrets. Internet is a mutually exclusive community where everyone survives with give and take. From building links to accepting guest posts its all about community. You scratch your fellows back he will scratch yours and if he won’t then don’t worry he will be gone before you think. There are different ways of helping others and yourselves. Guest posting, give exchanging links guidance, sharing resources and information are just few. Although it is important to do these with caution but they should be done.
8- They Don’t think like a Reader
A blogger who quit being a reader definitely fail. Remember one and only one thing, audience is your key if you have readers you will be a blogger perhaps a popular one if not then no matter how hard you try you cannot stop yourself from being failed. So, in order to succeed you better learn from your mistake and start thinking like a reader. You should always have this question in mind while making a post that “What benefit this post will give to the reader”? Trust me you will have awesome ideas if you think like a normal layman reader.
9- They Don’t Give up the Idea of Quick Money
Quick money is a sham and there is no such thing as quick money. If you don’t want to fail as a blogger you need to quit thinking about money in every thing. Of course it is highly relevant but there are something that should be done without considering money as prime motive. You cannot make quick money from blogging but your hard work can help you make easy money. So, don’t let your greed lead you to failure. There is always a new opportunity for those who are interested in making legit money through proper means without dodging their readers and themselves.
